COURSE MODULES :
Fundamental Arthroscopic skills course is targeted to young surgeons willing to take up arthroscopy as specialty.
OBJECTIVES :
The Participant Will Understand The Principles Of The Technique And Be Able To Perform The Following Arthroscopic Procedures:
Live Surgery ( Preferable 1,2 CASES )
Video Symposia
Group Discussion in Small Groups
Hands On Arthroscopy Skills In Dry Models
KNEE :
Familisation with arthroscopy equipment
Diagnostic arthroscopy of the knee.
Removal of a loose body.
Lateral retinacular release.
Meniscectomy.
Learn basics of ligament reconstruction
SHOULDER :
Familisation with arthroscopy equipment
Diagnostic arthroscopy of the shoulder, glenohumeral joint, and subacromial space.
Identify intra-articular structures, pathology, and anatomic variations.
Removal of loose bodies.
Steps of arthroscopic subacromial decompression
